Happy New Year!
So while we were all sitting around in Ireland …well I’ll speak for myself, I was having my brekkie on the morning of New Year’s Eve, New Zealand were celebrating New Year’s Day at 11 a.m. our time. I always find it so surreal that they’re in the future, a decade into the future! Anyway the fuss is done with, so see you all back in class on the 8th!

Happy Christmas!

In the Maori languageย Happy/Merry Christmasย is ‘Meri Kirihimete’. Well in New Zealand Christmas is coming to an end but here in Ireland it’s just starting! I’m writing this while the lovely aromas of the Christmas dinner cooking waft into the living room! Happy Christmas everyone! I received this lovely gift today, all the way from….yes you guessed it… New Zealand!
