In the Maori language Happy/Merry Christmas is ‘Meri Kirihimete’. Well in New Zealand Christmas is coming to an end but here in Ireland it’s just starting! I’m writing this while the lovely aromas of the Christmas dinner cooking waft into the living room! Happy Christmas everyone! I received this lovely gift today, all the way from….yes you guessed it… New Zealand!

I lived in New Zealand for a year in 2016. I headed over solo knowing no one there apart from a couple of kiwis I met travelling over the years. I booked accomodation for just over a week and from then i had no plans or direction. I googled sunniest spots in New Zealand and came across a beachside city called Tauranga and off I headed! That was a totally amazing experience! Saying I absolutely loved it is an understatement!!! Ive probably both intrigued and bored friends and family to death talking about New Zealand since returning home. So when it came to doing a computer college project on a topic - it had to be New Zealand!😁
